This is one of the rare Custom Shop 0000's Dick Boak dubbed the M5 and it is this guitar that was the inspiration for the Jorma M30 signature model. This was supposed to be a run of 14 guitars but we are told only 7 were completed, one of which Dick Boak lent to Jorma who fell in love with the guitar instantly. Jorma ended up buying that borrowed M5, and during his next visit to Martin he and Dick drew up the specs for a slightly watered down version of the M5 that became the M30 Jorma signature model. This is a Vintage 1962 Gibson J-45 in very good condition. There are finish check and small dings throughput as can be seen in the photos, and the original non desirable adjustable bridge was replaced, but there are no structural issues at all.
