This is a one owner 1939 Kalamazoo KG-14 in amazing condition. This guitar has a full setup restoration March of 2018 at Asher Guitars here in LA including a neck reset so it now plays as good as it looks and sounds. This is a Haida Gwaii Mini Jumbo hand made in British Columbia. The Haida Gwaii guitar company was made up of four guitar builders, Greg Williams, Chris Williams, Mark Vantaa and Rob Bustos but sadly they were unable to complete many guitars before the company had to dissolve. In fact there were less than 70 guitars built by the company before they closed. This is a 1980 Gurian 3H-S3R. Gurian Guitars was a manufacturer of high quality acoustic guitars based in New York City, then Hinsdale, New Hampshire and finally West Swanzey, New Hampshire, from the 1960s to 1981. The guitars were designed by luthier Michael Gurian who also supervised production. The company was one of the earliest "boutique" guitar brands in the United States, offering an alternative product to those of the larger, factory-based makers of the day, with instruments characterized by a distinctive shape, features and sound. The S3R is a mid-sized instrument with plenty of power, brilliance and sustain. This size is quite versatile, an excellent choice for solo or accompaniment. The Size 3 model has become a favorite for recording work thanks to it's balanced tone.
