This is a David Dart Style 1 Hawaiian lap steel guitar.
Made in the traditional Hawaiian style of the 1930's, the sides continue up to the head stock making the neck hollow. David's guitars were inspired by Weissenborn, Kona and Knudsen style guitars.
New David charges a very fair $3500 for this model, this guitar is in mint condition with no issues at all so it's an amazing buy.
