  1. Huss & Dalton Crossroads 14-Fret Mahogany Spruce 00 With K&K Mini and Case
    Sold

Huss & Dalton Crossroads 14-Fret Mahogany Spruce 00 With K&K Mini and Case

This is a pre-onwed Huss & Dalton Crossroads 14-fret in excellent condition - Think of the Crossroads guitar as a smaller DS Crossroads. The tonal balance is similar, and its volume doesn't suffer much from being caged in a smaller body. You may find that the Crossroads makes a more convenient traveling companion than its DS Crossroads big brother. The Crossroads comes standard in Sitka/mahogany, with the dark sunburst and unpurfled crème binding present a no-frills look, perfect for the unpretentious player who prefers to let the music attract the attention. The Crossroads is also a shade deeper in the body than the 0, 00, and 000 series, creating a guitar with perhaps a bit bassier presence. Light gauge strings can bring out the best of the lightly braced top, though the Crossroads can handle mediums Learn More

  6. Blackbird Guitars Savoy With MiSi Electronics #21
    Pre-Owned

Blackbird Guitars Savoy With MiSi Electronics #21

Note that Blackbird is not currently in business, and there is no indication that they will re open, so there will be very few chances to acquire one of these amazing travel guitars. Savoy is the culmination of Blackbird's focus on making compact instruments with big voices and with its lush vintage tone, this acoustic is without equal for its size. The small body 'O' size acoustic is crafted of 'lighter-than-spruce Ekoa® linen fiber composite. The one-piece body is lightweight, durable, and weather stable, so you can take your Savoy anywhere. With a full size voice, playability and scale length, it still fits in the included ¾ soft case. As a 12-fret guitar, Savoy is both compact and places the bridge in the ‘sweet spot’ of the lower bout but also offers you full fretboard access via the unique Blackbird ‘dual’ cutaway— the back is sculpted away for access to the highest frets. Finally Savoy features Blackbird's proprietary hollow neck and head sound chamber. Learn More

  8. Guild Starfire SF-4 1997
    Sold

    Guild Starfire SF-4 1997

The double cutaway Starfire series was introduced in late 1963 beginning with the Starfire IV and Starfire V. The Starfire VI followed in 1964. These guitars were made to capture part of the market that was almost exclusively enjoyed by the Gibson ES series guitars. Like the Gibson ES-335, the Starfire IV has a center block of wood that runs from the neck to the tail and is glued to the top and back. This reduces feedback and increases sustain. Up through 1967 the neck was joined to the body at the 16th fret. After 1967, the neck-to-body joint was moved to the 18th fret to facilitate better access to the upper registers. Learn More

    Pre-Owned

    Santa Cruz 1929 / 000

The OOO is the full sized version of the 1929 Model series. A longer, 25.375 inch scale for additional volume and bass make it a worthy ensemble instrument. You will find the same simple and elegant aesthetics of the 1929-O and 1929-OO versions. The master grade True Mahogany top is correctly dimensioned and hand voiced for a full and complex presence, and the elements for an heirloom guitar are all in place. The 1929-OOO's look includes a period correct script logo done tastefully in Ivoroid. Classic Ebony complements the pyramid bridge, tuner buttons, head-plate and fretboard. An appropriately simple rosette is inlaid with a rich faux tortoise shell celluloid ring in a vintage Ivoroid border. The 1929-OOO Model has all the exceptional presence and playability that you would expect from the Santa Cruz stable of state of the art acoustic guitars Learn More

  11. Cordoba Fusion 12 Orchestra CE
    Sold

    Cordoba Fusion 12 Orchestra CE

The Orchestra CE belongs to Cordoba’s Fusion series, a line of high quality crossover or hybrid style nylon string guitars designed to play and feel like steel string acoustics. Most notably, the necks are carved thinner than traditional Spanish-style “classical” guitars and have a nut width of 48mm or 1 7/8”. With the option of 12 or 14 frets to the body on most models, these slimmer dimensions combined with a radiused fingerboard give the Fusion series the feel and playability that most steel string and electric guitar players are used to. Tonally the Fusion series models have all the warmth, body, and resonance that traditional “classical” nylon string guitars are known for, and are built using traditional Spanish guitar methods like domed soundboards and fan bracing patterns in the design Learn More

  22. Gibson SG Vintage 1965 / 1967

    Gibson SG Vintage 1965 / 1967

When Gibson revamped the Les Paul Standard of 1958-’60 into the Les Paul/SG of 1961 (later simply SG Standard), it introduced a wealth of features that continue to appeal to a wide range of players, long after the reintroduction of the single-cutaway model that it was intended to supercede, many of which are shared by today’s SG Special and SG Standard. The solid mahogany body was thinner and lighter than any solidbody Gibson had produced before, and it still provided a wealth of rich, warm, woody resonance, but with a little extra snap and zing to the tone — all without the back ache Learn More
