Instead of the Advanced Performance bracing scheme typically used with our rosewood 900 Series, we opted for Performance bracing to better complement cocobolo’s musical properties. The voicing architecture brings out extra warmth and tempers the wood’s ringing top end tendencies to create a balanced voice with an articulate response. Aesthetically, we’ve embellished the detail-rich 900 Series appointment package with an amber-brown shaded edgeburst finish treatment around the body and neck. The color gradation adds subtle depth to the cocobolo’s glowing hues and creates a visual harmony between the darker sides and the lighter Sitka spruce top.
