The 000-28 Modern Deluxe is a new take on Martin Vintage. This guitar is packed with custom features and modern technology that you have to see, feel, and hear for yourself. The vintage appointments include a Sitka spruce Vintage Tone System (VTS) top, a dovetail neck joint, and natural protein glue construction that give it the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations. The look is unlike anything in our production line to date with European flamed maple binding, stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and a unique 1930s style script logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock. Some ultra-modern features include a titanium truss rod, Liquidmetal® bridge pins with red dots, and a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate that boosts volume without adding weight. Call for ETA - With the rise of Hawaiian music in the late 1910s, Martin began making ukuleles. The line expanded from mahogany to more elaborate Hawaiian koa models. A soprano-sized model, the 5K Uke is the ukulele equivalent of a Style 45 guitar - the top of the line. We based this Custom Shop Martin on the discontinued Vintage series 000-28VS but changed the neck to modified low oval with 1-3/4" nut and 2-1/4" saddle spacing which translates to a more versatile and more playable acoustic for most folks. That along with premium Waverly tuners, premium woods throughout and a nice light construction mean this guitar looks and sounds as good as it plays. Learn More

This Custom Shop Martin is based on the vintage 000 models with 12-frets free of the slightly longer body which provides more resonance and a fuller overall tone. Additionally this guitar features select wood sets throughout, gorgeous 42 series abalone inlays and modern neck with 1-3/4" nut combined with 2-1/4" saddle spacing so it plays as good as it looks and sounds.
