    Sold

Santa Cruz 1929 00 Custom Cutaway with Edgeburst Finish

The Robb Report showcases the simple elegance of this SCGC model as a way to 'own the extraordinary' instead of 'settle for the ordinary.' Welcomed internationally as both timely and timeless, the 1929-00 has received sparkling reviews from the most prestigious publications in France, Germany, UK and the US. This instrument's design pays homage to the simple and elegant instruments made for players enduring the Great Depression of 1929. Vintage inspired appointments include scalloped bracing, a period correct script style logo done tastefully in Ivoroid and beautifully executed Ebony pyramid bridge, bridge pins, tuner buttons, head-plate and fretboard. The rosette is an exercise in austere elegance with a rich tortoise ring nestled in a vintage Ivoroid border. Gibson Les Paul Gold Top 57' LPR-7 Mint with Case and COA

This is a mint Gibson Les Paul Gold Top 57' Reissue LPR-7 with original case and all original paperwork. The classic goldtop finish graces the top, while the back has a dark stain. The BurstBucker pickups on this Gibson 1957 Les Paul Goldtop "VOS" (Vintage Original Spec) are precise copies of the original "Patent Applied For" versions that were the first dual-coil humbucking pickups ever produced in quantity. Classic carved maple top, solid (non-weight relieved) mahogany back, and one-piece mahogany neck generate the singing resonance that made the original one of the world's most sought-after guitars. 7. Taylor Guitars Pallet
    Sold

    Taylor Guitars Pallet

One of only a handful ever made, the Pallet guitar by Bob Taylor was originally conceived to prove to the world that a great guitar builder can build an outstanding instrument regardless of the wood used. To prove this, Bob Taylor went to the back of the Taylor factory and proceeded to tear apart a few of the shipping pallets on the ground, and built himself a guitar using the weathered oak, and pine (or whatever the soft wood is on pallets) that these things are made of. Sold

Silver Street Taxi Electric Travel Guitar

Silver Street, Inc. was incorporated in June 1979, started by Bruce and Craig Hardy. Apparantly it was named after the street where Bruce Hardy lived at the time. Bruce Hardy designed the Taxi Guitar in 1981 featuring a full scale, and shipped with a gig bag that allowed it to be transported in a NY City taxi. The Taxi's innovative design was the subject of a U.S. patent application filed in 1981, granted in 1983. Five prototypes were built by legendary luthier Richard Schneider, who was a Gibson guitar consultant at the time. Production of solid-body guitars started in 1983, and ended by 1986. A bit of history about the Taxi model. The first guitar made for Tommy Shaw was in "Pepto Bismol" Pink, and later a Tommy Shaw model ws built. Guitar who played the Taxi include Paul Warren fomr Prism, Mike Reno from Loverboy, Michael Stanley, Chris Hayes of Huey Lewis and the News, Craig Chaquico of Jefferson Starship, and Rick Springfield who bought three and actually used one on an MTV video. 12. Taylor Custom Dave Matthews Signature Model DMSM
    Sold

Taylor Custom Dave Matthews Signature Model DMSM

Inspired by Dave Matthews 914ce, the DMSM is an Indian rosewood/Sitka spruce Grand Auditorium. A custom fretboard inlay blends elements of the popular "Cindy" inlay, which graces Matthews 914ce, with a design that pays tribute to the band's longtime sax player, LeRoi Moore, who passed away in 2008. Based on a sketch that Matthews provided, a crown inlay between the 11th and 12th frets honors Moore, incorporating ball-tipped points with one ball partially missing in his memory. A nickname of Moore's within the band, "Grux" is inlaid between the 13th and 18th frets. The headstock inlay also was developed from a sketch by Matthews. The guitar top was shaded with an aged toner to approximate the patina Matthews has on his older 914ce. Each DMSM comes with a custom guitar label and a certificate of authenticity, both personally signed by Matthews Learn More

Taylor Steven Curtis Chapman Signature Model - SCCSM

The fretboard and headstock inlay designs honor Chapman's daughter Maria, who passed away in 2008 at the age of 5. Both inlays are recreations of Marias drawings.
