Brooke has a long standing and deep personal connection with Martin guitars and Martin was thrilled to team up with Brooke to design her dream Custom Artist model. This auditorium style guitar is tastefully designed with a clean aesthetic and is available with and without a sunburst top. The model was inspired by a combination of Brooke's favorite aspects of Martin's Paul Simon and Eric Clapton Custom Artist models that are part of Brooke's collection. Personalized features on this model includes a simple wreath pattern inlay on the headstock, and Brooke's signature inlayed on the twentieth fret. The look is unlike anything in our production line with European flamed maple binding (on the body, fingerboard, and headplate), stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and an ornate torch logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock. Some ultra-modern features include Liquidmetal® bridge pins with abalone dots and a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate that boosts volume, and a new neck shape that is slightly asymmetrical for maximum hand comfort up and down the fretboard. We based this Custom Shop Martin on the discontinued Vintage series 000-28VS but changed the neck to modified low oval with 1-3/4" nut and 2-1/4" saddle spacing which translates to a more versatile and more playable acoustic for most folks.
