This amazing guitar was hand built in Taylors tiny Lemon Grove shop back in 1986 by Bob Taylor with help from Larry Breedlove, well before they started using CNC machines for everything. This model was used by artists like Neil Young and Prince who appreciated the ultra-playable neck. Original pre-CNC Taylors are getting harder to find as collectors start to see the value. We based this Custom Shop Martin on the discontinued Vintage series 0-28VS and we've been ordering it for LA Guitar Sales ever since that model was dropped. We changed the neck to modified low oval with 1-3/4" nut and 2-1/4" saddle spacing which translates to a more versatile and more playable acoustic for most folks.
