This is a 2013 Collings 0002H Rosewood Spruce 000 12-Fret with Original Deluxe Hardshell Case. The 12-fret 000 has the same general appearance as the Collings 00, but in a larger size with longer string scale. Although it's the same width and depth as the OM, the longer body typically produces more bass and overall volume. This is another custom Taylor that we put together on our last visit to the Taylor factory where we were presented with some amazing "off menu" wood sets like the Zebrano featured on this guitar. For those of you not familiar with Zebrano (also known as Zebra wood) it's about the same density as Rosewood with very similar tonal characteristics but to my ear it has a bit more clarity and projection.
