This is one of the rare Custom Shop 0000's Dick Boak dubbed the M5 and it is this guitar that was the inspiration for the Jorma M30 signature model. This was supposed to be a run of 14 guitars but we are told only 7 were completed, one of which Dick Boak lent to Jorma who fell in love with the guitar instantly. Jorma ended up buying that borrowed M5, and during his next visit to Martin he and Dick drew up the specs for a slightly watered down version of the M5 that became the M30 Jorma signature model. This is a 2013 Collings 0002H Rosewood Spruce 000 12-Fret with Original Deluxe Hardshell Case. The 12-fret 000 has the same general appearance as the Collings 00, but in a larger size with longer string scale. Although it's the same width and depth as the OM, the longer body typically produces more bass and overall volume.
