SoldGibson SG Vintage 1965 / 1967
When Gibson revamped the Les Paul Standard of 1958-’60 into the Les Paul/SG of 1961 (later simply SG Standard), it introduced a wealth of features that continue to appeal to a wide range of players, long after the reintroduction of the single-cutaway model that it was intended to supercede, many of which are shared by today’s SG Special and SG Standard. The solid mahogany body was thinner and lighter than any solidbody Gibson had produced before, and it still provided a wealth of rich, warm, woody resonance, but with a little extra snap and zing to the tone — all without the back ache Learn More$0.00Out of stock

SoldSilver Street Taxi Electric Travel Guitar
Silver Street, Inc. was incorporated in June 1979, started by Bruce and Craig Hardy. Apparantly it was named after the street where Bruce Hardy lived at the time. Bruce Hardy designed the Taxi Guitar in 1981 featuring a full scale, and shipped with a gig bag that allowed it to be transported in a NY City taxi. The Taxi's innovative design was the subject of a U.S. patent application filed in 1981, granted in 1983. Five prototypes were built by legendary luthier Richard Schneider, who was a Gibson guitar consultant at the time. Production of solid-body guitars started in 1983, and ended by 1986. A bit of history about the Taxi model. The first guitar made for Tommy Shaw was in "Pepto Bismol" Pink, and later a Tommy Shaw model ws built. Guitar who played the Taxi include Paul Warren fomr Prism, Mike Reno from Loverboy, Michael Stanley, Chris Hayes of Huey Lewis and the News, Craig Chaquico of Jefferson Starship, and Rick Springfield who bought three and actually used one on an MTV video. NewEastman D'Ambrosio DC '64 Swamp Ash 3-Color Burst Lollar Special '64 Pickups Kingtone Switch #24010
Note that this guitar is the actual one listed on the Eastman Guitars website! “Salt Air, Dry Brush, Ocean Waves, Misted Forests, Weathered Boulders. Our home, California, inspires the design that sculpts the shape and timber that make D’Ambrosio Series.” The Eastman D’Ambrosio Series, designed and built in California, pays homage to the enduring Golden State tradition of innovating right to the edge. With beautifully worn curves echoing the coveted coastline and a player-centric design, the D’Ambrosio Series may feel comforting and familiar. However, these are unique instruments where innovation blends with tradition. When something new also feels reassuringly familiar in an old-fashioned way, you know you’ve found a new home. D’Ambrosio guitars carry on the heritage of matching California design with down-to-earth playability. Introducing the FullerTone Neck MORE TONE, More Sustain, More Stability At the heart of D’Ambrosio Series design lies a beautiful innovation: the FullerTone neck. Envisioned and brought to life by master luthier and head of design, Otto D'Ambrosio, this completely new long-tenon, 2 bolt, neck to body connection redefines industry standard. The body-to-neck joint is the most important connection on a guitar. It acts as a bridge of energy; transferring resonance, sustain and tone while providing stability to the guitar. The FullerTone neck fulfills this ambition, securing unprecedented three-times greater neck-to-body contact for unhindered resonance transfer. The gracious body geometry cradles the neck in perfect harmonious position, secured by two machine-threaded screws locked into steel anchors embedded in the neck. The complete design is a fusion of old-world craftsmanship and modular versatility—the first bolt-on neck tuned to rival the sustain and stability of a set-neck guitar. With the Fullertone neck, Otto’s vision for a guitar with seamless tonal continuity, from headstock to bridge, is fully realized; maximizing its tonal potential. We call it T.S.S: More Tone. More Sustain. More Stability. Beautiful Tonewoods Tell Stunning Stories Swamp Ash and wildfire-burned Phoenix Pine serves as the heart of D’Ambrosio Series. Wildfire-burned Phoenix Pine is one of two tonewoods that serve as the heart of D’Ambrosio Series Roasted Phoenix Pine, salvaged sustainably in the process of regenerating the Oregon wilds, is given a second life, with a controlled heat treatment granting complexity - modern era clarity with smoky overtones.
