This is a mint Custom Collings 03 E Cocobolo/Englemann 0 14-Fret. With the exception of the Baby, the 0 is the smallest guitar made by Collings, and is offered with the same shorter scale found on the 12-fret 00. Although measuring only 13.5 inches in width (smaller than a typical classical guitar), the Collings 0 has tone and volume that belies its first impression as being less than full-sized. This is another custom Taylor that we put together on our last visit to the Taylor factory where we were presented with some amazing "off menu" wood sets like the Zebrano featured on this guitar. For those of you not familiar with Zebrano (also known as Zebra wood) it's about the same density as Rosewood with very similar tonal characteristics but to my ear it has a bit more clarity and projection.
