This is a Haida Gwaii Mini Jumbo hand made in British Columbia. The Haida Gwaii guitar company was made up of four guitar builders, Greg Williams, Chris Williams, Mark Vantaa and Rob Bustos but sadly they were unable to complete many guitars before the company had to dissolve. In fact there were less than 70 guitars built by the company before they closed. This Custom Eastman 00 is based on Gibson's LG2 / B25 shape and size, but thanks to the Thermo Cured Adirondack top, premium Mahogany back and sides, and Vintage Varnish finish, we feel that tonally this guitar has a richer, fuller, and cleaner voice and is more responsive than what you would expect from the Gibson, making it a much more versatile instrument. Excellent for finger style but can handle a flat pick quite nicely, it's an amazing 00. We added Vintage Varnish finish with a slight distressed look, with subtle gold burst to jazz up the look, and premium Gotoh tuners to make sure you stay in tune.
