This is a 2013 Collings 0002H Rosewood Spruce 000 12-Fret with Original Deluxe Hardshell Case. The 12-fret 000 has the same general appearance as the Collings 00, but in a larger size with longer string scale. Although it's the same width and depth as the OM, the longer body typically produces more bass and overall volume. This full custom BTO Grand Auditorium was ordered by us at our last visit to the Taylor factory. The Macassar Ebony back and sides were hand picked by me from the Taylor premium stack, as was this amazing piece of Sinker Redwood. As you can see the results are gorgeous but as good as this guitar looks it's the tone that will win you over. This instrument is as responsive as an acoustic can get but it has enough headroom to take the most aggressive strumming you can throw at it. The tone is rich and balanced with plenty of projection.
