This is a 2013 Collings 0002H Rosewood Spruce 000 12-Fret with Original Deluxe Hardshell Case. The 12-fret 000 has the same general appearance as the Collings 00, but in a larger size with longer string scale. Although it's the same width and depth as the OM, the longer body typically produces more bass and overall volume. This is a 1980 Gurian 3H-S3R. Gurian Guitars was a manufacturer of high quality acoustic guitars based in New York City, then Hinsdale, New Hampshire and finally West Swanzey, New Hampshire, from the 1960s to 1981. The guitars were designed by luthier Michael Gurian who also supervised production. The company was one of the earliest "boutique" guitar brands in the United States, offering an alternative product to those of the larger, factory-based makers of the day, with instruments characterized by a distinctive shape, features and sound. The S3R is a mid-sized instrument with plenty of power, brilliance and sustain. This size is quite versatile, an excellent choice for solo or accompaniment. The Size 3 model has become a favorite for recording work thanks to it's balanced tone. The 3H was a higher grade version of the standard S3R featuring 3-piece back, herringbone inlay on the top, back and sides gold plated Schaller tuners. This guitar has no structural issues, but it does show small dings on the body, neck, and on the headstock. Neck angle is perfect, frets are good, and electronics work as they should. The case is alo in good condition, but the tolex has some wear around the edges. It is perfect inside.
