The 00-28 Modern Deluxe is a new take on Martin Vintage. This guitar is packed with custom features and modern technology that you have to see, feel, and hear for yourself. The vintage appointments include a Sitka spruce VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM® (VTS) top, a dovetail neck joint, and natural protein glue construction, giving it the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations. The look is unlike anything in our production line with European flamed maple binding, stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and a unique 1930s style script logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock. Some ultra-modern features include Liquidmetal® bridge pins with red dots and a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate that boosts volume, and a new neck shape that is slightly asymmetrical for maximum hand comfort up and down the fretboard. D-10E Sapele This solid wood Dreadnought model is a great sounding guitar at an affordable price. New to this model are stunning mother-of-pearl pattern fingerboard and rosette inlays with a multi-stripe rosette border. It has an FSC® Certified Richlite® fingerboard and bridge, satin finish body, and a hand-rubbed neck finish. Also new to this model is the Fishman® MX-T electronics package with a built-in soundhole tuner that auto mutes the audio output so you can tune up any time without using a pedal. This guitar comes with a Premium Soft Shell Case so it is Road-ready to join you on all of your adventures! D-X2E Mahogany The remastered X Series is made to play. The acoustic-electric D-X2E features the iconic Dreadnought body shape, now available in three eye-catching high-pressure laminate (HPL) patterns—mahogany, Brazilian rosewood, or ziricote. The satin spruce top features an elegant abalone pattern rosette, while HPL back and sides give you durability and classic Martin style. Playability enhancements include a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience. Its signature size is loud and projective with strong bass, lending itself to any genre and experience level. This amazing guitar was hand built in Taylors tiny Lemon Grove shop back in 1986 by Bob Taylor with help from Larry Breedlove, well before they started using CNC machines for everything. This model was used by artists like Neil Young and Prince who appreciated the ultra-playable neck. Original pre-CNC Taylors are getting harder to find as collectors start to see the value. This Custom Eastman 00 is based on Gibson's LG2 / B25 shape and size, but thanks to the Thermo Cured Adirondack top, premium Mahogany back and sides, and Vintage Varnish finish, we feel that tonally this guitar has a richer, fuller, and cleaner voice and is more responsive than what you would expect from the Gibson, making it a much more versatile instrument. Excellent for finger style but can handle a flat pick quite nicely, it's an amazing 00. We added Vintage Varnish finish with a slight distressed look, with subtle gold burst to jazz up the look, and premium Gotoh tuners to make sure you stay in tune.
