The Eastman E10OOSS/V Varnish Antiqe Classic Antique Varnish Series guitars are built on a mix of time-honored craft and ahead-of-the-curve thinking utilizing classic technique with a decidedly fresh approach. It is designed to make such a rare and labor-intensive feature more available to guitar enthusiasts, with the proof in the distinctive look and sound. The process itself, features six distinct steps starting with a basecoat application to fill the grain, then moving to color application, and concluding with a French polish. This Custom Eastman 00 is based on Gibson's LG2 / B25 shape and size, but thanks to the Thermo Cured Adirondack top, premium Mahogany back and sides, and Vintage Varnish finish, we feel that tonally this guitar has a richer, fuller, and cleaner voice and is more responsive than what you would expect from the Gibson, making it a much more versatile instrument. Excellent for finger style but can handle a flat pick quite nicely, it's an amazing 00. We added Vintage Varnish finish with a slight distressed look, with subtle gold burst to jazz up the look, and premium Gotoh tuners to make sure you stay in tune.
