The Eastman E10OOSS/V Varnish Antiqe Classic Antique Varnish Series guitars are built on a mix of time-honored craft and ahead-of-the-curve thinking utilizing classic technique with a decidedly fresh approach. It is designed to make such a rare and labor-intensive feature more available to guitar enthusiasts, with the proof in the distinctive look and sound. The process itself, features six distinct steps starting with a basecoat application to fill the grain, then moving to color application, and concluding with a French polish. Ultimately, three or four coats of material are applied and sanded thin. This Custom Eastman 00 is based on Gibson's LG2 / B25 shape and size, but thanks to the Thermo Cured Adirondack top, premium Mahogany back and sides, and Vintage Varnish finish, we feel that tonally this guitar has a richer, fuller, and cleaner voice and is more responsive than what you would expect from the Gibson, making it a much more versatile instrument. Excellent for finger style but can handle a flat pick quite nicely, it's an amazing 00. We added Vintage Varnish finish with a slight distressed look, with subtle gold burst to jazz up the look, and premium Gotoh tuners to make sure you stay in tune. The Laney LA30D is a compact acoustic combo amplifier that is packed for performance and designed specifically for acoustic instruments such as acoustic-electric guitars. LA30D’s two independent input channels both offer the choice of balanced XLR or unbalanced 1/4” inputs and both can have digital reverb assigned to them as required. This flexibility allows for connection of a mic and instrument, two different acoustic instruments, or even a blend of separate mic and pickup connections from the same instrument. The main instrument channel features a 3-band EQ for customizable tone sculpting plus a Shape switch – this provides a great sounding “go to” setting from a single button press. A pre-selected chorus setting can also be added with a simple switch. This snappy, stylish, and lightweight amp is a hard worker that fits wonderfully in a variety of places, including performance venues, the practice room, home recording space, or teacher’s studio.
