OME 12" Minstrel Banjo With Case

The MINSTREL, like the Tupelo, gives a warm and woody Old-Timey sound. With a scrolled peg head and Mother-of-Pearl shell inlay in the Frailing scoop, this model is fashioned after the American Antebellum banjos. The 2-ply solid Maple rim is 9/16” thick and is capped with black Ebonite and bound with simulated Tortoise shell. A varnish finish is hand-rubbed generously and then sealed. The OME 12” maple Tone Rim construction combined with less brackets and wood rim-rod produce our “woodiest” Old-Time banjo tone. The MINSTREL is made with the same care and precision as other OME instruments and comes with a deluxe hard-shell case. Learn More
