Set-Up and Quality Assurance in Bend, Oregon USA Breedlove's comprehensive quality control process provides the player with an instrument that will play great right out of the box. Prior to shipment, every Breedlove instrument undergoes a rigorous multi-point inspection in Bend, Oregon by their expert U.S. quality control team. They start with a visual inspection: they check aesthetic and structural elements of the body and all components for flaws. Next, each guitar is tuned and undergoes a play test, where craftspeople check nut height, relief, action, and string height. Based on the results of the play test, they then adjust for maximum playability. Next, each instrument is buffed and polished by hand with painstaking attention to detail. Once the instrument has passed inspection, a signed QC sticker is placed, and the instrument is carefully packed and shipped. This Custom Eastman 00 is based on Gibson's LG2 / B25 shape and size, but thanks to the Thermo Cured Adirondack top, premium Mahogany back and sides, and Vintage Varnish finish, we feel that tonally this guitar has a richer, fuller, and cleaner voice and is more responsive than what you would expect from the Gibson, making it a much more versatile instrument. Excellent for finger style but can handle a flat pick quite nicely, it's an amazing 00.
