Gibson LG1 Reissue 2006 One Of Only 20 Made: Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: Excellent Description: This is a special edition Gibson LG-1 reissue made in 2006. This guitar is one of only 20 made featuring Gibson's special 00 body shape created in the 1940's, solid Mahogany back and sides, solid Spruce soundboard, classic three-in-line vintage tuners, 60's style large Gibson pickguard, open slotted bridge, and amazing vintage sunburst finish invented by Gibson in the 1900's. Although this is an LG1 reissue, it really should have been called an LG2 reissue considering the X-bracing system and all solid wood construction, features only available on the more expensive LG2. Either way this is one of the rarest reissues I know of. The sound of this guitar is rich and balanced, the action is low and fast without buzz, and the active pickup works perfectly. Condition is mint with no issues at all, as is the original arch top case which is included.
