This is the same hinge as the guitars used on stage by pop icons Steve Miller, and Rusty Anderson with the Paul McCartney Band. The Transit Series guitars use a high-gloss select Mahogany for the back and sides, along with a smooth satin-finish Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard. The elegant High-gloss Spruce top is supported by forward-shifted X-bracing. All Transit Series guitars feature single-ply black top and back binding, and an inlaid soundhole rosette. The VAOM-02 flatters finger-style playing, with a full-size 'OM-style' guitar body, a traditional 1- ¾" nut width and 24-3/4" scale length. All Transit Series guitars have standard features usually found on far more expensive instruments: 'dot' inlay fret markers, a compensated saddle, the patented Voyage-Air captured nut, advanced zero-fret fingerboard, chrome-plated die-cast enclosed tuners, phosphor-bronze strings, and a distinctive black pickguard.
