Description: This is a 1997 Heritage Johnny Smith model featuring single cutaway body with carved solid Spruce top, Curly Maple back and sides, multi-bound top and back, bound F-holes, five piece Curly Maple neck, Ebony fingerboard with Abalone block inlays, multi-bound headstock veneer with gorgeous Abalone and Mother of Pearl rose inlay, and one Heritage jazz pickup mounted to the bound Curly Maple pickguard. This one was hand signed by Johnny Smith.

Condition is very good, there are no structural issues at all, the neck is straight, action is low, and the tone is amazing. All the hardware on this model was usually matte black but this one features gold hardware throughout. This guitar was originally labeled a 2nd probably due to a minor finish flaw, but after twelve years normal handling marks this should not be a consideration. We tried to show every cosmetic issue a collector might be concerned about but will be happy to post more pictures of any specific part of the guitar upon request.
