Gibson Le Paul Chambered-Reissue : Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: Excellent Description: This is a custom ordered 57' Chambered-Reissue made in the Gibson Custom Shop featuring a rare, one-piece top in natural finish. It's nearly impossible to find a nice piece of maple wide enough to do a one piece top so you will not see many of these, which is really too bad because with a one piece top the Chambered-Reissue is hollow like an acoustic and gets it's tone properties from the chamber and the vibration of the top unlike standard Chambered-Reissue 's which have a 2 piece top where the wood is glued in a center seam. Without the seam, there is natural wood fibers that run from edge to edge without a glue seam which tends to make the top more similar to an acoustic than the other Chambered-Reissue 's. The acoustic sound from this Chambered-Reissue is very loud but retains all the qualities of the other Chambered-Reissue 's. This guitar is in excellent original condition with only minor handling marks and one professionally touched-up ding on the side of the neck which can't be felt at all with the hand. The original case is also in excellent condition and is of course included.
