Lowden S23 Concert Series: Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: Excellent Description: This is a 2001 Lowden S23 Concert Series model hand made in Ireland. This guitar features amazing Claro Walnut back an sides, select Cedar soundboard, abalone rosette, rich dark Ebony fretboard, and signature five-piece Mahogany neck. The scale is 25.5", and the nut width is 1.75". This guitar is a finger-style players dream come true. The small body, smooth low profile neck, and the comfortable 1.75" nut make it a joy to hold and play, and the rich balanced sound will amaze you. The guitar is extremely responsive and surprisingly loud. Although designed for finger-style, this guitar will handle a flat-pick just fine and is really quite versatile. Condition is outstanding with only a few pin-head size nicks in the soundboard, and no pick marks at all on the clear pickguard. Action is low, neck is straight, and there are no issues to report. The original case is included and is also mint. This model lists for $4050 today with a street price of around $3400.
