Larrivee Parlor Koa Special Edition: Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: Excellent Description: This is a Koa Special Edition Larrivee Parlor made in their Canadian shop before they moved production of these awesome little guitars to California. The Koa version is one of the most desirable, and most elusive of the Larrivee Limited Edition Parlor series. For those of you that are not familiar with this model, it's a 3/4 size guitar but it is not a travel guitar. This is a true parlor model featuring forward shifted hand shaved X-bracing, hand fitted dovetail neck joint, with all solid wood construction. With sustain for weeks, great easy to play action, and a rich balanced voice, this ultra responsive guitar will quickly become your favorite. This guitar features all solid construction with fully bound Koa back and sides, gorgeous Spruce top, fully bound one-piece mahogany neck with Ebony fretboard and bridge. Scale is 24", and the nut is 1-¾". Comes with original truss-rod tool and original top of th line arch-top case. Condition is near mint with only one tiny mark on the soundbord that you will no see unless you are looking for it under the right light. Currently these are being made only with a thicker, and some feel less responsive gloss finish, and a retail price around $2000.
