Martin OM-28JM John Mayer: Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: Excellent Description: This is a limited production Martin OM-28JM John Mayer signature model featuring select Engelmann Spruce soundboard with vintage toner, gorgeous Rosewood back and sides, scalloped 1/4in baces, Herringbone trim, 45-style abalone rosette, beveled Tortoise pickguard, low-profile neck, Ebony fretboard with pearl dot inlays, 1-1/16in nut width, 25.4in scale, pearl-outlined abalone triangle and double dots at 12th fret, the peghead and bridge have a narrow strip of aluminum inlaid around the edges, and John Mayer’s signature at the 12th fret. Just gorgeous! Tuners are Martin’s butterbean open gear, and it has been equipped with Fishman GoldPlus Natural I pickup. Unlike the current open ended production OMJM model with bolt-on neck, this one has true dovetail neck-joint. Of course the neck is one piece Mahogany without unsightly "wings". Only a total of 404 were made of this model with three staying at John Mayer‘s house. This guitar is in outstanding near mint condition with only minor play wear, and one finish nick on the back. Electronics work perfectly and the guitar sounds great plugged in. Comes with original Martin Geib style case shown.
