Taylor Baby Limited Edition Rosewood - US Made!: Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: Very Good Description: This is a vintage 2001 limited edition Rosewood Baby Taylor made right here in the USA before they moved production of these fine little guitars over to Mexico. This guitar features solid Spruce soundboard, Mahogany neck, Ebony fretboard and bridge, and gorgeous laminated Rosewood back and sides for durability. Originally designed by Bob Taylor as a child's first guitar, the Baby quickly found favor with dad's (and moms) looking for a quality travel guitar that was small enough to go just about anywhere, including the overhead compartment of an airplane. This is a fifth year production made in the Taylor factory by the same guys who made all the other models. I have not had a chance to check out one of the current Mexican Baby Taylor‘s, but I do know that these discontinued US made Baby‘s are just outstanding instruments with great setup, quality tuners, and a sound much bigger than you would expect from a 3/4 size guitar. To most of us collectors these original Baby Taylor's will always be the best ones. This one in in excellent condition and comes with the original Taylor Baby extra thick gig bag.
