Larrivee Parlor P05 MT: Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: As-New Description: This is a current, very limited production all Mahogany Larrivee Parlor made in their state of the art California shop wit the latest arch-top hard shell case. For those of you that are not familiar with this model, it is a 3/4 size guitar but it is not a travel guitar although it does travel very well. This guitar is a true parlor model featuring forward shifted X-bracing, hand fitted dovetail neck joint, all solid wood construction with select Mahogany soundboard, and back and sides, one-piece Mahogany neck bound with Ivoroid, and the fretboard and bridge are rich Ebony. The body is fully bound with gorgeous flamed Maple, and there is a tortoise pickguard. The scale is 24" and the nut width is 1-3/4" so its an easy guitar to play, and perfectly suited for finger style, although it handles a flat pick very well which is why Larrive fitted it with the gorgeous beveled Tortoise pick-guard at the factory. These new Parlors from Larrivee are works of art, with incredible attention to detail, abalone rosette, and gorgeous high gloss finish, they are a bargain even at the current $1800 retail price, and a steal this price.
