Breedlove Ed Gerhard Master Class Signature Model 1999:

Description: Designed in conjunction with finger style legend Ed Gerhard, this guitar is constructed with rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top. The jumbo-size body features a proportionally large lower bout, a narrow waist, and a relatively shallow depth of 3 inches at the neck and 4 1/16" at the heal. Like most Breedlove's, the Gerhard comes equipped with the JLD Bridge System which is mounted under the ebony bridge. This device transfers the string tension and vibrations from the top to the rest of the body through the tail-block, to which it's connected. The JLD system makes it virtually impossible for the top to warp or belly up over time, and more importantly it allows for lighter top bracing, which allows the top to vibrate more freely. Another interesting aspect of the Breedlove's construction is its graduated top. With a bass side that's slightly thinner than the treble side, the guitar is fine-tuned for even response all across its frequency range.

This one is the Gerhard Classic with Master Class Koa Binding, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, rich Ebony fretboard and asymmetrical bridge, Koa Rosette, and gold Grover mini tuners. Scale is 25 1/2" and the nut is 1-3/4". It was built in 1999 by Steve Henderson, who I’m told is no longer with Breedlove.

This guitar has no issues other than a small finish crack near the nut that is not structural. Condition is near mint with barely any sign of use. Comes with original deluxe Breedlove case pictured. It is one of the nicest ones you will find.
