Martin 7-28 Vintage 1981 7/8th Size Dreadnaught: Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: Excellent Description: This is a 1981 Martin model 7-28 featuring gorgeous fully bound Rosewood back and sides, select Spruce soundboard, one-piece Mahogany neck, and rich dark Ebony fretboard and bridge. This is considered a 7/8th size dreadnaught body with a scale of 23", nut width is 1-10/16", depth at the heel is 4-5/16", and overall length is 36-3/4". Make no mistake, although this guitar would make an ideal travel companion, this is no travel guitar. This guitar has a full, rich, and balanced sound that’s well beyond what one would expect from a smaller acoustic guitar, and it’s a joy to play. The size 7 from Martin was short lived with only about 200 pieces ever made, and most folks who own them, keep them. This one is in excellent condition with only the slightest handling marks and no structural issues at all. It comes with the original, specially made just for this model Martin case.
