Epiphone FT-30 Caballero: Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: Good Description: This is a vintage US made Epiphone FT-30 Caballero featuring all Mahogany construction with tortuse bound 00 size body, 24 3/4in scale, Rosewood fretboard, and Ebony bridge. This one was made in 1959 or perhaps 1960 but it is one of the earliest ones and by the looks of it, it has not been played all that much. It does however have a neck repair that although seems solid, could look better. The action is nice and low, 1/8in at the 12th fret, and there is about an 1/8in of saddle protruding out of the bridge. The neck joint is solid as are all the braces, and there are no structural issues other than the neck repair mentioned. This one has been fitted with a passive under-saddle pickup that works great, and it comes a with vintage chipboard case.
