Dobro DM33 California Girl: Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: Excellent Description: This is a Gibson made Dobro featuring chrome plated brass body with etched "pin-up girl" theme, with small girls on front, large glamour girl on back, 14in lower bout, 3-1/4in body depth, rolled and segmented f-holes, round sunburst finished 14-fret flame maple neck with solid headstock, 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, 1-11/16in nut width, 24-7/8in scale, 10-1/2in resonator cone with spider bridge and fan cover plate, and Grover mini-Rotomatic tuners. This model was manufactured in very limited quantities and is no longer being offered by Gibson. When new the street price was around $2500, but was never easy to find. Condition of this one is near mint with only one small finish chip on the headstock. Structurally perfect, with a killer vintage metal body Dobro sound. Action is medium so it can be played both finger style and bottle neck. Comes with original hard shell case.
