Description: This is an older Japanese made Epiphone FT16-12 Texan, which is a full size 12-string dreadnaught styled after the Martin D12-28.

This guitar features fully bound Mahogany body, Spruce soundboard, Rosewood bridge and fretboard, 1-3/4" nut, 25-1/4" scale, and gorgeous burst finish.

There are some handling mark through out as can be seen from the pictures, but no structural issues at all. The action is set at medium height but since this is a bolt-on neck adjustments can easily be made to lower it.

Comes with excellent hardshell case shown.

As most of you who visit this site know, we usually like to deal in higher end and collectable guitars, but we are very happy when we get one these older Japanese guitars from the seventies in. Although these guitars feature all laminated construction, you would never know it from the sound quality, and unlike the bargain guitars offered today by the big name stores, these guitars have excellent, easy to play action and are perfectly suited for the most experienced player when that higher end Martin or Taylor would not be appropriate to bring along.
