Ibanez Howard Roberts Model: Price: Sold Used/New: Used     Condition: Very Good Description: This is one of the rare Ibanez Howard Roberts models which were made between 1974 and 1977. These pre-lawsuit models were made by Ibanez in Japan, and were identical to the Gibson Howard Roberts models which are also rare as hens teeth. This gorgeous guitar features awesome flamed Maple body, vine design abalone headstock inlay, gold plated floating hum-bucking pickup, Rosewood finger board with notched block ebony inlay, oval sound hole with multiple purfling, adjustable Ebony bridge with abalone inlay, single Florentine cutaway, multiple top and back binding, and deluxe multiple bound pick-guard. Scale is 25.5in, and the nut width it 1 11/16in. This one is all original and in excellent shape. It shows little sign of use, but there is some fading of the gold finish, and a small spott of surface corrosion at the tail piece. Other than that there are no structural issues, the neck is straight, action is low, and the sound is awesome. Comes with what appears to be the original hard-shell case.
